Chantelle Hospedales attended the University of Toronto for her undergraduate education. She received a double major in Criminology and Equity Studies. Chantelle just finished her first year at Osgoode Hall Law School, and she is currently working for KIP Canada (formerly known as FEAT for Children of Incarcerated Parents). At KIP, Chantelle focuses on connecting with different community organizations and initiatives across the Greater Toronto Area, to create legally informed holistic programming for youth with parents that are currently incarcerated or recently released. In general, KIP Canada works to address the negative emotional,
psychological and physical impacts familial incarceration can yield. It is through their diverse
programing that KIP actively invests in the social, physical, and mental wellbeing of vulnerable youth.

Moving forward, Chantelle hopes to pursue a legal career that centers a human rights framework and imbues legal advocacy with a humanistic narrative. She will continue to advocate to create space and platforms for those who are affected by the Criminal Justice System in North America to voice their lived experiences and take part in creating a more equitable society

Producer of the successful events TORONTO PLUS SIZE FASHION SHOW and PARIS PLUS SIZE FASHION SHOW, Josiane Laure was awarded by CBC as one of the most innovative/creative young entrepreneurs in the Greater Toronto Area in 2018.

Josiane Laure Modjom is the founder and CEO of the inclusive fashion business Malia Indigo Corporation. The company operates through the network platform www.maliaindigo.com and connects fashion professionals through online networking, fashion shows, and fashion workshops.

Successful accountant, Top 100 Black women to watch in Canada, Josiane Laure Modjom has broken multiple barriers and recently launched a clothing line. Her inclusive denim collection was introduced a few days ago.

ABINA GILBERT is the Founder of SHARE-ON, a charitable initiative created to honour the memory of her mother Evelyn E. Huntley-McDonald.
Abina was 10 years old when her mother became a single mom. With 8 kids to care for, Evelyn was suddenly thrust back into the corporate world. She struggled to provide for Abina and her siblings while also protecting them and ensuring that none fell through the proverbial cracks.
The generosity and kindness of people in the community that helped during those tough years with no ulterior motives have created a lasting impact on Abina and this is her way of paying it forward.
The SHARE-ON project began in January 2020 to address family hunger in Abina’s hometown, Linden, in Guyana, South America and beyond. The recipients are single mothers who are experiencing financial hardship. Each month, groceries are provided to a pre-selected single mother who is desperately trying to take care of her children even though she is swimming in the vortex of poverty.
In addition to devoting her time to help alleviate the suffering of families facing adversity and inspiring others in the community to do the same, Abina serves as an Investment Operations Executive within the Financial Services Industry.
She has an International MBA and loves to travel and has visited over a dozen countries so far.

Sue McFadden, City Councillor
Sue McFadden is proud and honoured to serve Mississauga’s Ward 10 in her fourth term as City and Regional Councillor. She was first elected to Council in 2006 and served as Trustee for the Peel District School Board for six years prior.
Throughout her time as an elected official, Councillor McFadden has held positions of leadership on various committees such as chair of the Peel Police Services Board, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Safe City Mississauga, Emergency Services and more. Her commitment to safety has been recognized by her colleagues and appreciated by her constituents.
Prior to her public service, Councillor McFadden worked for Bell Canada for 17 years at the senior management level. She and her husband Dave have lived in Mississauga for more than 45 years.
