Clarke Media Arts

The youth will be trained by Nikki Clarke, host and producer of the Nikki Clarke Show. This is a 6 weeks workshop in broadcasting, mass communications, writing for television/online media, directing, and producing. Students at the end of the program will tape their original video production for online tv network, www.nikkiclarkenetwork.com. Students will be taught in a variety of methods such as in class lecture or online, hands on practice, and team presentations. This is a dynamic , fun , and educational program for any age with an emerging interest in broadcasting arts or production for television/online media. Classes are 90 minutes in length.

WEEK 1- Introduction to Mass Communications, Development of Television, Online Media ( in class)

WEEK 2- Writing Scripts

WEEK 3- Writing Scripts review, Basics of editing

WEEK 4- Editing review

WEEK-5- Video production work

WEEK 6- Video production work/Create Youtube Channel/ Video Presentation

Students will need a laptop, headphone, and cell phone ( with video)

 

The Clarke Media Arts program launched July 8  to July 18, 2014,at Eastview Boys and Girls Club sponsored by the City of Toronto and Vital Youth.I will be teaching at risk teens the ropes of tv production. This was the first program of its kind in an inner city community centre.  Each one teach one:)
