“I wanted to be a mom and I wanted to be a mermaid. And I made my own reality.”
At just four years old, Jacy Peck wrote her two dreams in a journal — to be a mom, and to be a mermaid. In this powerful clip from her interview on The Nikki Clarke Show, Jacy shares how she made both come true with no roadmap to follow, and why asking for what you want is the key that opens doors: “Nobody is going to hold their hand out for you unless you ask… and then magic happens.”
Jacy Peck is Mrs Canada Earth 2026–2027 — the first professional Canadian mermaid ever to hold the title. She is an SSI-certified mermaid instructor and the children’s author of “There’s a Mermaid in My Bathtub,” inspiring young dreamers to believe that no dream is too impossible.
Hosted by Dr. Nikki Clarke, The Nikki Clarke Show celebrates the stories of remarkable people who turn their pain into purpose and their dreams into reality.
