Experienced accountant with over 14 years of experience, Josiane Laure Modjom was born in Cameroon. Bilingual English/French, she is a professional accountant, entrepreneur and mother of three children. Curvy from birth, Josiane Laure was motivated to join the fashion industry to motivate other women who struggle with their bodies. Overwhelmed by the opposition that plagued plus-sized beauties, she has worked passionately to include plus size fashion into the standard fashion industry in Canada.
Producer of the successful events TORONTO PLUS SIZE FASHION SHOW and PARIS PLUS SIZE FASHION SHOW, Josiane Laure was awarded by CBC as one of the most innovative/creative young entrepreneurs in the Greater Toronto Area in 2018.
Josiane Laure Modjom is the founder and CEO of the inclusive fashion business Malia Indigo Corporation. The company operates through the network platform www.maliaindigo.com and connects fashion professionals through online networking, fashion shows, and fashion workshops.
Successful accountant, Top 100 Black women to watch in Canada, Josiane Laure Modjom has broken multiple barriers and recently launched a clothing line. Her inclusive denim collection was introduced a few days ago.
