Lisa began her career in 1996, delivering frontline support to organizations in all areas of human resources. Lisa has developed direct experience in a range of industries including software development, information technology, power, utilities, construction, food and manufacturing. Firms such as Symantec, Intek Communications, Keating Technologies, Cara Foods and Robert Half.
As a baccalaureate in Human Resources Management minoring in HR Law at York University, Lisa has completed her diploma in Human Resources Management from Centennial College and later went on to complete her post-graduate diploma program also from Centennial College. Lisa is WSIB certified by WSIB and can help ensure that companies are in the right code paying the premiums that are best suited to that firm. More recent Lisa attended Osgoode Law Hall and successfully obtained her certificate in Advanced Human Resources Law for Senior HR Executives.
Lisa has spoken on many panels including Centennial College, Trent University, TriOs College and Pathway To Success for newcomers. Lisa has been the key guest speaker for WMRCC (Women’s Multicultural Resource and Counselling Centre – Durham). Speaking on many topics including what it takes to achieve gainful employment within Canada. Lisa has been a guest speaker multiple times for Small Business Women Network. Lisa has taught a few introductory classes, been a guest speaker and mentor at the Community Innovation Labs in Whitby. Lisa has been a guest on television shows many times. Lisa and her team have developed various courses for those that need further information in such areas as Human Resources and Entrepreneurship.
Lisa has received awards such as; 2015 for Rising Star of the year and featured in HRD Magazine, 2016 was one of 9 finalists for HR Advisor/Consultancy of the year for all of Canada out of over 35,0000 HR professionals. In 2017 nominated again for HR Consultancy/Advisor of the year for all of Canada, Nominated for Business Person of the year, won the 2017 Business Excellence of the year award; in 2018 won Leading Women, Leading Girls award and again nominated in 2018 for Business Person of the Year and Business Excellence of the year awards. Lisa was nominated 2019 HR Executive Leader for across Canada.

Lisa has also volunteered for the Special Olympics Silent Auction that is sponsored by Toyota Canada each year and was the Vice President on the DCC #44 Board of Directors for 5 years. Lisa was the only Executive Assistant in Symantec’s history to be awarded the Team Work Award, in which Lisa was nominated by 5 managers across Canada.
